As highlighted in our philosophy, environmental awareness and sustainable practice are fundamental to everything we do. The goal of education for sustainability is to empower children and adults to think and act in ways that enable them to meet their needs without jeopardizing the potential of future generations to meet their own needs. As such we work to promote an awareness of and interest in both the immediate environment and the world in a broader context. We acknowledge and value the unique interconnectedness of all things – plants, animals, humans and the planet we inhabit. We aim to give the children the tools they need to become reflective, empathetic thinkers, promoting a sense of responsibility, respect, enquiry and active participation
