What is a Quality Improvement Plan QIP?

Each Early Childhood Education and Care setting must ensure a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) is in place for each service.
The aim of a QIP is to help providers self-assess their performance in delivering quality education and care, and to plan future improvements. 

At East West we do an ongoing self assessment that looks at all of the elements that make up the National Quality Framework listed below. Gathering responses from families, staff and the community about our practice and performance. We look at  how we are doing with each element and what our strengths are and what we need to work on. From this we find some Goals or themes that we want to work on in the future.
